Marine Brig. Gen. Paul Kennedy, deputy commanding general of III Marine Expeditionary Force and commanding general of 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade in Okinawa, Japan, enters the Dulce Nombre De Maria Cathedral Basilica Jan. 18 with Congresswoman Madeleine Bordallo, Guam delegate to the U.S. House of Representatives. The two attended a memorial service for retired Marine Brig. Gen. Vincente “Ben” T. Blaz, who died Jan. 8 at the age of 85.
