A U.S. Army soldier in ACU (Army Combat Uniform) is instructing or supervising two young civilians during what appears to be a physical fitness demonstration or exercise event. The soldier, identified by a name tape reading 'HALDORSON,' is kneeling and speaking to a young woman while a young man lies on the floor performing an exercise. A U.S. Army All-American banner is visible in the background, suggesting this is an Army-sponsored recruitment or outreach event.

Staff Sgt. Raymond L. Haldorson Jr., suggests the proper way to do situps to high school students during the All American challenge event, one of the competitive activities during All American Bowl week at San Antonio's Alamodome, Jan. 1, 2014. Haldorson, a graduate of Illinois State University, was a school teacher before deciding to join the U.S. Army in 2006. Haldorson and nine other soldiers from the U.S. Army Special Operations Command are attending the event as mentors to 90 of the nation's top high school football stars, along with 125 top high school marching band musicians and Color Guard members. Culminating the weeklong activities is the U.S. Army All American Bowl, the premier high school football game in the country for more than a decade. (Official photo by Jerry Green)
