Howard, Perry and Walston staff joins soldiers of the NCNG’s 171st Engineer Company, U.S. Veterans Corps and charity and civic group volunteers loading nearly 2,000 frozen turkeys to distribute to representatives of Triangle area schools, churches, food banks, temples, councils and missions. “You get to help a great cause by helping those in need,” said Jay Walden, a realtor with Howard, Perry and Walston. The event was one of many that highlight the N.C. Guard’s commitment to serve citizens in communities all throughout the state.
