Winston-Salem, N.C. native, Sgt. 1st Class Don Galloway, first sergeant for the 846th Transportation Company starts up a rough terrain container handler during training near the Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan retrosort yard Dec. 16. Galloway trained nearly 30 troops on how to operate the heavy vehicle which is used to assist soldiers, attached to the 82nd Sustainment Brigade-U.S. Central Command Materiel Recovery Element, with their materiel reduction mission at the retrosort yard.
