Several soldiers from 1st Platoon "Blood Angels," D Company, 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat team, 1st Cavalry Division, open the back of a Humvee and secure it in place with a ratchet strap. This will allow the Joint Readiness Training Center observer controllers to hang on securely as they ride along with the convoy as it navigates the live-fire exercise. From the back of the vehicles, the OCs will maintain a vigil over the training to direct the "Blood Angels" through the exercise safely. (U.S. Army Photo by Spc. Bradley J.
