Staff Sgt. Todd Dekinderen, a recruiter at Marine Corps Recruiting Substation Brooklyn, Recruiting Station New York, hits the heavy bag at the Sadam Ali Boxing Center in Brooklyn, Feb. 28. Dekinderen was a member of the All-Marine Boxing Team from 2006 to 2010 but had to put his boxing career on hold due to the demands of recruiting duty.
