Operation Gratitude is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that sends care packages and letters of support to deployed soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines, their children, veterans, military families, first responders, wounded warriors and their caregivers. Gettysburg is deployed as part of the Harry S. Truman Carrier Strike Group supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
