Staff Sgt. Andrew McConkay gives commands to Staff Sgt. Daniel Fox, 557th Expeditionary Red Horse Squadron heavy equipment operators, as he operates a crane during a C-130 engine swap by members of the 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, 746th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Unit propulsion flight, at the 379th Air Expeditionary Wing, Southwest Asia, Dec. 11, 2013. The 557th ERHS provided short notice support for the engine swap by supplying the crane and personnel to hoist the engine out and install the new engine. The combined efforts contributed to the engine being swapped in 12 hours and the aircraft ready to fly on schedule. McConkay is deployed from Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., and a Salt Lake City native.
