Sailors from supply division aboard the aircraft carrier USS George Washington attach a cargo pendant to an HH-60H Sea Hawk helicopter from the "Chargers" of Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron 14, during a vertical replenishment at sea with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Henry J. Kaiser. George Washington is training with Carrier Air Wing 5 during its transit to Japan. George Washington is en route to Yokosuka, Japan, where the ship will replace USS Kitty Hawk as the U.S. Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier.
