Seabees assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 40 carry an injured Seabee during a mass casualty drill at Fort Hunter Liggett during Operation Bearing Duel 2008. In this training exercise, they must load and carry their injured shipmate on a litter to the Battalion Aid Station for treatment or stabilization and potential evacuation from the area. The mass casualty drill is one of many training exercises Seabees are tested on during the annual Field Training Exercise.
