    D Company, 1-244th Assault Helicopter Battalion has illustrated their friendly competitive spirit for the 2008 football season: New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. D Co is made up of soldiers from Louisiana and Florida and they are currently deployed to Joint Base Balad, Iraq.
