An Iraqi member of the Sons of Iraq begins the transition to the national police with a set of sit-ups as part of his physical fitness test, Aug 22, 2008. The screening process consisted of the applicants taking a test to determine suitability, a physically fitness test, identification verification and medical screening. The tests and application process were conducted by members of the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad and the 300th Military Police Company.
