Petty Officer 3rd Class Jonathan Mack, aircraft structural mechanic, communicates with the K-loader operator to guide a pallet onto a C-9B Skytrain as the aircraft loads humanitarian supplies. The aircraft, a detachment of Fleet Logistics Support Squadron 46 based in Marietta, Ga., represents the U.S. Navy's first asset participating in the ongoing humanitarian efforts in the Republic of Georgia. Navy participation is part of a larger United States response to the government of Georgia request for humanitarian assistance.
