Working through dust, day and night, Marines with Engineer Company, Combat Logistics Battalion 6, 1st Marine Logistics Group finished construction on Combat Outpost Gannon II by the end of July. Marine leaders have high expectations for COP Gannon II to successfully constrict insurgent activity along the border and help open up local Iraqi free trade.
