Staff Sgt. James M. Letsky, 35, a platoon sergeant with Delta Company, 4th Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, Regimental Combat Team 5, and Staff Sgt. Justin M. Cuomo, 33, a scout squad leader with Delta Co., plot out a search plan during a patrol through the city of Um Al Wazz, Iraq, Aug. 2, 2008. During the operation, the Marines detained one oil smuggler and more than four oil trucks. The mission lasted approximately two days, and Marines learned more about illegal operations in the area.
