Justin Guarini, a former "American Idol" participant, signs an autograph for U.S. Marine Corps Maj. Chris Lynch, from Riverfield, Fla., at Camp As Sayliyah, Qatar, Aug. 6, 2008. Guarini earned second place during the first season of the hit television series. He was beginning a support tour of U.S. military installations in Southwest Asia; also on tour: Gina Glocksen, Brandon Rogers and Nadia Turner. "My wife is a big fan," said Lynch. "She watches them perform each season, from start to finish. It's great to see them come out, it shows that even the folks in Hollywood support us."
