Petty Officer 2nd Class Dallas Cook, an aviation warfare systems operator from Heath, Ohio, salutes the USS Arizona Memorial from the flight deck of the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk as the ship pulls out of Pearl Harbor after participating in Rim of the Pacific 2008. Kitty Hawk is the Navy's oldest active duty warship and will be replaced this summer by the nuclear-powered aircraft carrier USS George Washington as the Navy's only permanently forward-deployed aircraft carrier.
