A makeup artist wearing blue latex gloves is applying simulated wound/injury special effects makeup to a person wearing a U.S. Navy uniform. The subject's head and face are covered in realistic-looking fake blood and prosthetic wound materials. This appears to be a moulage (medical simulation makeup) session, likely for a military or emergency response training exercise.

A simulated victim gets "gored" up by the 96th Medical Group’s moulage team prior to an active shooter exercise at the Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal building Dec. 3. Police and first responders from Eglin and the surrounding communities participated in the joint exercise in which a person with two weapons entered the building and began shooting students. The SWAT team made sure the building was safe to enter. Then firefighters moved the victims out to the triage area where local emergency medical technicians provided care.
