An MV-22B Osprey with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 161 (VMM-161) “Greyhawks” flies over the Pacific Ocean outside San Diego during tactical-formation training, Nov. 25. During this training, crew chiefs like Lance Cpl. Joshua Payne, crew chief in training with the “Greyhawks” and a Houston native, helps ensure the aircraft have proper spacing and that pilots know where other aircraft are at all times.
