Department of the Army civilian employee Fernando Torres, assigned to the Joint Multinational Training Command, conducts a briefing with U.S. Army soldiers Capt. Philip Pohlman and 1st Lt. Sean Eskew assigned to the S-3 Shop, HHC Company, 412th Aviation Support Battalion, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade Nov. 19, 2013, at the Oberdachstetten Local Training Area. Torres serves as the chief of the Deployable Instrumentation System Europe or DISE program. The DISE program is a combination of live instrumentation systems that provides enhanced training and after actions review (AAR) capabilities at home station and deployed training areas. Torres explained during the briefing how units can greatly improve their realistic home-station training experiences and enhance their combat readiness by utilizing the DISE system to record training events and conduct professional AARs.
