Boatswain's Mate 2nd Class Arren Halfacre tosses a line to Landing Craft Unit 1648 for a stern gate marriage with the amphibious dock landing ship USS Harpers Ferry (LSD 49). Harpers Ferry is part of the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
