Members of Buncombe County Veterans Council Patriot Guard stand at attention for Taps to honor those veterans who lost their lives in service of the United States at a Veterans Day celebration Nov. 11, 2013 at the Charles George VA Medical Center in Asheville, N.C. The BCVC Patriot Guard has performed military honors and funerals for more than 12 years and is in its final year of assisting the North Carolina National Guard with those duties.
