Three Iraqi policemen practice maneuvering their boat on Lake Qadisiyah near Haditha, Iraq, July 12, without using an outboard motor as part of their 21 day training course with Navy Riverines of Riverine Squadron 3, Detachment 2, 3rd Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5. The training course is designed to familiarize the policemen with water patrolling basics as they prepare to receive responsibility for the security of the Haditha Dam and Lake Qadisiyah.
