Sgt. Justin Tygart, a native of Orlando, Fla., is presented the Bronze Star Medal by the Secretary of the Navy, the Honorable Ray Mabus, at an award ceremony aboard Camp Lejeune, N.C., Nov. 1, 2013. Tygart was one of four to be presented with awards for heroic and selfless actions while deployed to Afghanistan in 2011, with 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment.
