Participants of a Jane Wayne Day event raid a town during the last portion of a simulated special operations mission on Camp Lejeune, N.C., Oct. 19, 2013. The event was organized by Marine Special Operations Regiment, allowing wives of MARSOC personnel to experience firsthand how Critical Skills Operators train for missions. This Jane Wayne Day event immersed participants in an interactive scenario comprising patrols, a run through an obstacle course, rides on zodiac boats, encounters with role-players and a simulated raid on a town. MARSOC Marines supervised the entire event, and assisted the family members throughout the scenario. (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Lance Cpl. Steven Fox/Released)
