Combat Rescue Officer candidates perform aquatics physical training during Phase II of the CRO Assessment Program Oct. 15, 2013, at Fairchild Air Force Base, Wash. During Phase II, operators and Survival, Evasion, Resistance, and Escape psychologists screen and identify candidates with strong leadership potential to command specialized personnel recovery forces for physically and mentally demanding operations.
