Ed Whalen (pictured left) and Derek Kegerreis, both members of the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command's (JECC) J4 logistics directorate, check the JECC headquarters building for damage following a simulated earthquake during the Great Southeastern ShakeOut Earthquake Exercise on Oct. 17. In the event of an actual earthquake, these members would verify the safety of the building prior to allowing staff to return to their workspaces.
