NPS electrical and computer engineering student Lt. Ashley McAbee is pictured in this graphical representation of the integration of disparate intelligence sources. McAbee’s research through the Center for Multi-INT Studies (CMIS) utilizes a database of Automatic Identification System (AIS) reports to extract historical maritime transit patterns. CMIS, the university’s newest research center, takes an interdisciplinary approach to the integration of intelligence data from disparate sources and associated systems to improve results.
