An aerial photograph captures an apparent maritime rescue operation in rough, grey seas. A listing or distressed fishing vessel with hull number 609677 is visible on the left, while a US Coast Guard response boat with distinctive orange hull stripe is positioned nearby on the right. A red object, possibly a life ring or person in a survival suit, is visible in the water between the two vessels.
