Portland District dredge Yaquina, in September, removed nearly 40,000 cubic yards of material from the bar at the mouth of the Siuslaw River. The work was the first performed under the memorandum of agreement with the state of Oregon that allows the Corps to accept state funds to dredge coastal federal navigation channels.
