Soldiers participating in the B Company, 1st Battalion, 20th Special Forces Group (Airborne), Special Forces Readiness Evaluation wait for further instructions while in the pushup position at the Stanly County YMCA in Albemarle, N.C., on Sept. 14, 2013. The soldiers were tested on their swimming skills and participated in swim training, less than an hour after completing a more than six-mile road march. Only eight of the 18 soldiers who started the evaluation completed it and not all of them will be recommended to attend Special Forces Assessment and Selection.
