Soldiers who have served in Company B “Bayonets,” 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, 2nd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, take a moment to remember their fallen comrade at his memorial tree here at Warriors Walk, Sept. 20. The Warriors Walk is lined with Eastern Redbud trees, each one dedicated to a 3rd Infantry Division soldier fallen in combat. The tree is Cpl. Bryant Luxmore’s, who was killed by enemy small-arms fire June 10, 2012, while conducting security operations in Panjwai, Afghanistan. Past and Present Bayonet soldiers, along with other members of the Spartan Brigade, gathered to remember their fallen comrades here at the Warriors Walk, Sept. 20, the one-year anniversary of when their comrade, Sgt. Jason Swindle, was killed in action. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Richard Wrigley, 2nd ABCT, 3rd ID, Public Affairs NCO)
