Soldiers from throughout the 48th Infantry Brigade Combat Team (IBCT) conduct a multi-arms live-fire exercise while at the 48th IBCT's eXportable Combat Training Capabilities rotation. The Guardsmen had the opportunity to fire Mk 19s, AT-4 rocket launchers and an M203 grenade launcher. "It is important that they get to see and experience firing all of these different weapons systems," said Sgt. 1st Class Eric Farmbrough III, chemical, biological radiological and nuclear specialist with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 48th Brigade Special Troops Battalion. "They will see all of these on any deployment they go on, so it is imperative that they have hands-on training on them. Especially considering that they don't normally have the opportunity to get hands on with these weapons during a normal drill weekend."
