A large artillery piece, consistent with an M777 howitzer or similar towed howitzer, is captured mid-fire with a visible projectile in flight and a large smoke plume billowing from the muzzle. Several soldiers in camouflage uniforms are positioned around the weapon in an open field setting. A tan military field tent is visible to the right, suggesting a forward operating or training position.
