Zac Merkling, of Avilla, Ind., both with the 76th Special Troops Battalion, 76th Infantry Brigade, Indiana Army National Guard, prepare an RQ-7B Shadow Unmanned Aerial System for Launch at Jefferson Proving Ground, near Madison, Ind., Sept. 17. The Indiana Army National Guard provided the Shaodows for Bold Quest, a multinational capailities demonstration to test interoperability of communication systems and new technology used by coalition militaries.
