U.S. Marines carefully label all hose connections prior to swapping the engine of a Light Armored Vehicle-25, Feb. 29. Marines from the 3rd Maintenance Battalion, out of Okinawa, Japan, performed routine maintenance on prepositioned equipment maintained aboard MV 1st Lt. Jack Lummus (T-AK 3011). Lummus is taking part in Exercise Key Resolve/Foal Eagle 2008, an annual combined/joint exercise involving forces from both the U.S. and Republic of Korea (ROK). This exercise provides training to further enhance interoperability and combat readiness, while also demonstrating both countries' commitment to the ROK/US alliance.
