Marines and sailors rush a mock casualty onto a Japan Ground Self-Defense Force helicopter Aug. 31 during medical evacuation training at the Ojojihara Maneuver Area. The training was in preparation for the live-fire artillery scheduled to take place during Artillery Relocation Training Program 13-2. The Marines and sailors are with 1st Battalion, 12th Marine Regiment, currently assigned to 3rd Battalion, 12th Marines, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, under the unit deployment program.
