    The U.S. Pacific Fleet band renders honors with the playing of echo taps during the USS Missouri Memorial Association 68th anniversary celebration commemorating the end of World War II, Monday, Sept. 2 at the Battleship Missouri Memorial, Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The ceremony was followed by the unveiling and dedication of a statue of Fleet Adm. Chester W. Nimitz, who not only directed the war in the Pacific but also commanded the largest ocean area and most ships of any single commander in the history of the world.
