Sgt. Maj. Timonthy J. Rudd, 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, battalion sergeant major, congratulates Cpl. Michael Wigfall, 25, after his reenlistment ceremony on Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, Aug. 14. The reenlistment ceremony was held to honor Wigfall, a field wireman from Cambridge, Mass., on his decision to serve an additional four years of faithful service in the Marine Corps. “Marines who reenlist, they’re the longevity and future of the Corps,” said Rudd. “It’s always an honor when you have some the best and brightest stick with the profession.”
