Maj. Gen. W. Lee Miller, Regional Command (Southwest) commander, greets Cpl. Michael T. Wigfall, 25, before officiating his reenlistment ceremony at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan, Aug. 14. The reenlistment ceremony was held to honor Wigfall, a field wireman from Cambridge, Mass., with Headquarters and Service Company, 2nd Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, on his decision to serve an additional four years of faithful service to the Marine Corps. “Before I met (Maj. Gen. Miller) I was nervous to know what he was going to ask,” said Wigfall. “But after watching him go through the entire platoon, I knew I’d be fine and that he really cares about his Marines.”
