Spc. Richard Yoos, a wheeled vehicle mechanic with Area Support Group, Kuwait and a native of Genoa, Ill., competed in the U.S. Army Central Non-commissioned and Soldier of the Year competition in Atlanta on June23-27. He is one of seven warriors who competed for the honor of being named the best of the distinguished U.S. ARCENT organization. During the three-day competition, he faced rigorous tests that challenged every aspect of his training, skills and abilities.
