A patient escort helps secure a trauma patient to be transported from a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft to a bus in order to be driven to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center for follow on care, June 6. Patients are routinely transported from the Air Force Theater Hospital, Balad Air Base, Iraq, to Germany for medical care.
