Command Sgt. Maj. Gary Hamm, brigade command sergeant major of the North Carolina National Guard’s 449th Theater Aviation Brigade congratulates a soldier from the 130th Attack Reconnaissance Battalion during the unit’s annual training here, March 19. The aviators flew missions as unit ground crews maintained, repaired and refueled twelve AH-64 Apache helicopters. "Leaders come where soldiers train so we can find out what we can do for them," said Hamm.
