Capt. Kris Howell introduces himself to one of the teachers at Saif Dawla, a school for orphans April 8, in Baghdad's Abu T'shir neighborhood. Howell serves as the commander, Troop C, 7th Squadron, 10th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, Multi-National Division - Baghdad. The Soldiers of 7-10 Cav. Regt., assumed responsibility in the northwest Rashid district from the 1st Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, in March. The 1st BCT, 4th Inf. Div. is scheduled to soon replace the 4th BCT, 1st Inf. Div., which served a 15-month rotation in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
