Chief Warrant Officer Joseph Goodstein, chief engineer aboard the Logistic Support Vessel - 6, Spc. James A. Loux, explains the capabilities of the vessel during a tour of Fort Eustis’ 3rd Port, Sept. 14. Members of the Beckley Recruiting Battalion, headquartered out of Richmond, Va., and local educators and Army Reserve partners from the region came to visit the port to talk community outreach and build partnerships with Fort Eustis and the 7th Sustainment Brigade, said Lt. Col. Chris Wood, recruiting battalion commander.
