A U.S. Coast Guard HC-144 Ocean Sentry maritime patrol aircraft assigned to Coast Guard Air Station Mobile, Ala., is parked on the ramp at Coast Guard Air Station Houston Aug. 28, 2012, in preparation for Hurricane Isaac's landfall. The Coast Guard also sent six helicopters from Air Stations Mobile and New Orleans to Houston to better assist residents after the storm's arrival. Isaac developed as a tropical storm over the Western Atlantic Ocean Aug. 21, 2012, affecting Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Haiti and Cuba before making landfall as a hurricane on the Gulf Coast of the United States.
