U.S. Army Maj. Gen. Joseph Anderson, 4th Infantry Division commander, presents a Purple Heart award citation to U.S. Army Spc. Ashlie Totten, native of Erie, Pa., at Combat Outpost Fortress Aug. 5, 2012. Totten, a Female Engagement Team member assigned to Company C, 1st Battalion, 12th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, was one of three soldiers Anderson presented the Purple Heart to during his two-day visit of the 4th BCT in eastern Afghanistan as part of battlefield circulation.
