A member of the Malaysia Maritime Enforcement Agency observes as Naval Air Crewman 2nd Class Ruben Solis and Naval Air Crewman 3rd Class Zach Grills, both assigned to Helicopter Antisubmarine Squadron Light (HSL 37), demonstrate combatant survivor escape and release procedures during a survival swimming and dive technique training event. The event is part of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training Malaysia 2012. CARAT is a series of bilateral military exercises between the U.S. Navy and the armed forces of Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.
