Exercise Eager Lion coalition partners from Combined Joint Task Force Spartan brief colleagues on a variety of topics, from air medical evacuations to tactical combat casualty care, at the King Hussein Medical Center in Amman, Jordan, May 10. The event consisted of briefs from personnel of different nations over a two-day period. Eager Lion 12 is an annual exercise focused on developing relationships with other nations and increasing interoperability. It is an irregular warfare themed exercise including 19 countries and more than 12,000 participants, focused on missions coalition partners might perform in support of contingency operations. The intent is to strengthen military-to-military relationships through a joint, whole-of-government, multinational approach to meet current and future complex national security challenges.
