Coalition partners from Combined Joint Task Force Spartan attending a two-day medical brief inspect a U.S. military combat aide bag at the King Hussein Medical Center in Amman, Jordan, May 10. The workshop, which covered topics from air medical evacuations to tactical combat casualty care, is one of several events going on during Exercise Eager Lion 12, which is focused on developing relationships with other nations and increasing interoperability. Eager Lion 12 is an irregular warfare themed exercise including 19 countries and more than 12,000 participants, focused on missions coalition partners might perform in support of contingency operations. The intent is to strengthen military-to-military relationships through a joint, whole-of-government, multinational approach to meet current and future complex national security challenges.
